Sandra Kay (Wiggs) Daily, age 82, of Newburgh, IN, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

Sandy was born February 27, 1943, in New Albany, IN, to Hubert Wiggs and Evelyn (Coffman) Wiggs Faith. She graduated from New Albany High School in 1961. She enjoyed playing Bridge with different clubs through the years, and she loved watching IU sports. She was a Master Gardener and member of SWIMGA, was a member of Historic Newburgh, Inc., and volunteered for CASA. In her younger years, Sandy worked in Human Resources, but her favorite occupation was raising her family. She loved being a homemaker and was a devoted Wife, Mother, Nana and GNana. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sandy is survived by her daughter, Stacy Daily (Jeff); son, Patrick Daily (Paula); grandchildren, Clay Hopkins (Audrey), Courtney Smith (Steve), Morgan Weilbrenner, Joe Daily, and Miranda Daily; great grandchildren, Owen, Alice, Emrie, Jackson, and Cooper; dear friend, Tom Dawson; foster daughter, Janet Darby (Roger) and their children, Kate Mullins (Andy) and Sara Girouard (Ross); cousins, extended family, and friends.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 54 years, Joseph “Joe” Daily, who passed away in 2016; and her dog, Jack.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, IN.

Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2025, and from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
