Michael David Radke, 78, Drummond, passed away at his home surrounded by his family.

Mike was born on January 23, 1947 in Chippewa Falls, WI to Harold and Emogene (Niblett) Radke.  He grew up in Chippewa Falls before moving to St. Paul, MN in the sixth grade.  Mike served his country in the United States Marines from 1965-1967 and fought in the Vietnam War.  He married his childhood sweetheart Louise Lund on December 16, 1967.  They moved from Wisconsin to Colorado in 1973 where Mike was employed as a home builder for 34 years.  They moved back to Chippewa Falls in 2007 and then to Drummond in 2014 when they retired.  In his younger years Mike raced funny cars and formula 4.  Mike and his family enjoyed camping and boating on Lake Superior.  He was a member of the Cable American Legion and the Paralyzed Veterans of America.

He is survived by his wife Louise; daughter Tammy Radke; grandchildren Collin and Tanner Radke, Anthony Puerini and Jamie Hoever; brothers Harold Radke and John (Barbara) Radke.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sons Michael Lee and Timothy Michael; brother Steven.

Burial with military honors will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 1:00pm at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spooner, WI.
