David Frances Wilkins Obituary
David Frances Wilkins, age 66, a lifelong resident of McMinn County, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. He played football for McMinn County High School on the winning team of 1975. He also enjoyed building race cars in his spare time.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Dan Thomas and Cecile Cora Pelletier Wilkins, his wife: Theresa Wilkins, and his brothers: Jon Nell Wilkins and infant brother: Dan Wilkins, Jr.
David is survived by his daughter: Dawn Sluter (Randy) of Athens, his grandchildren: Dakoda, Ryan, Jacob, and Lenox, his siblings: Dana Wilkins, Philip Wilkins (Connie), Thomas Wilkins (Cindi), Daniel Wilkins (Sheila), Kevin Wilkins, and Van Wilkins, along with several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
