Salvatore Nasello 80, of Murrells Inlet, SC and formerly of Franklin Square, NY passed away on Wednesday November 12, 2025, at Grand Strand Medical Center.

Salvatore (Sal) was born on June 5, 1945, in New York, NY to the late Salvatore Nasello and Marie Nasello Scara.

Left to cherish Sal’s memory are his wife of 53 years, Barbara Nasello of Murrells Inlet SC; sons, Adam Nasello of Levittown, NY, Brett Nasello of Woodstock, NY; daughters, Cara Nasello of Weehawken, NJ, and Diana Olszewski of Irvington, NY; along with six grandchildren, Jenna, Alyssa, Jessica, Alec, Conrad and DeForest. Sal is truly going to be missed by his family and friends.

Sal loved to walk his dog, Shea; enjoyed a good game of bocce ball; and playing poker. He was an avid baseball fan and would watch the Mets with his wife cheering by his side. He loved to grill in any season, even when he lived in New York; lounging on a chaise lounge in the SC sun and making others happy.

Most will remember Sal for his kindness and generous spirit. He did anything for the people he loved, often quietly helping others without expecting recognition. Above all, he adored his wife, Barbara. Their bond was one of deep devotion, friendship, and unwavering love.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Saturday November 15, 2025, at Burroughs Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet.
