Dansville – Rita H. Partridge, 93 years of age, passed away early Wednesday morning, November 12, 2025 at Nicholas H. Noyes Memorial Hospital.

Rita was born February 21, 1932 in Dansville. She was the daughter of William and Cecelia (Thielges) Harrington. She was a graduate of Dansville Central School and attended college. Rita and Arthur Partridge were married February 10, 1950 and together celebrated over 59 years prior to Arthur passing away in February of 2010.

Rita was an active volunteer in different organizations that included the Food Pantry, Gold Circle at Kings Daughters Home and the Dansville Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, sewing (handcrafting many dresses), camping (locally and across the country), going to lunch with friends and working on genealogy.

Rita was pre-deceased by her parents, William and Cecelia Harrington; her husband, Arthur Partridge; two sons, David and Tim Partridge; a grand-daughter Lindsey Kvasnicka and a grandson, Jacob Partridge; siblings, William (Kay) Harrington, Pat (Richard) Genung, Edward Harrington and Gary Harrington. She is survived by two daughters, Linda (William “BJ”) Lamb of Burnt Hills, NY and Valerie (David) Schubmehl of Wayland; a son, Russell (Deborah) Partridge of Honeoye Falls; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; her brother, Cliff (Sharon) Harrington of TN, sisters in law, Karen Harrington of Lakeville and Mary Conrad of Dansville; along with many nieces and nephews.

Rita’s family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday November 17, 2025 at 10am, at St. Mary’s Church, 38 Elizabeth St., Dansville. Committal prayers and interment will take place immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Dansville.
