Robyn Marie Rinehart, age 68, of New Vienna, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 4, 1957, in Wilmington, Ohio, the daughter of Ronald “Red” Dane Rinehart and Carolyn Jean (Barrett) Rinehart.
Robyn dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a caretaker for over 25 years. Her kind and giving heart touched many lives, both through her work and her friendships.
She found joy in the simple things — camping under the stars, tending to her flowers and garden, playing cards, and decorating for every holiday with a special touch. But above all, Robyn’s greatest happiness came from spending time with her life partner, David, her children, grandchildren, and her many dear friends.
Robyn will be remembered for her generous spirit, her laughter, and the love she shared so freely. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and devotion that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Robyn is survived by her mother, Carolyn Rinehart; life partner, David Hughes; children, Jessica (Brian) Kratzer of New Vienna, Joshua (Jodi) Wilson of New Vienna, Billy (Amanda) Edison of West Union; Tammy (Jamie) King of Bainbridge, Teresa (Blake) Baker of New Vienna, Dava (Joshua) Riehle of Lynchburg, and Misty (Lewis Thornburg) Hamilton of New Vienna; 22 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; four siblings, LouAnn (Paul) Flint of Loveland, Rod (Sandy) Rinehart of Savannah, Georgia, Rachel Bernard of Sabina, Roni (Dennis) Jones of Morristown, Tennessee; two best friends, Linda Hughes, Linda Wilkinson, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald “Red” Rinehart; a daughter, Wendy Treadway; two brothers, Tom and Roland Rinehart.
Celebration of Robyn’s life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
