Services for L.B. Jenkins, Jr., will be at 11AM, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Forest Hill United Pentecostal Church, Forest Hill, LA, with Bro. Greg Heidner and Bro. Greg Willis officiating. Visitation will be at the Church on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 5PM to 9PM and from 9AM until time of services on Saturday. Interment will follow and Rocky Hill Cemetery, Glenmora, LA, under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.

L.B. Jenkins, Jr., 82, of Glenmora, LA, passed away November 12, 2025, at his residence surrounded by loved ones.

Lance Corporal Jenkins was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served in Vietnam 2 years, 2 months and 21 days. He was past commander of DAV Paul P. Benoit Memorial Chapter 7 and was also a member of the Alexandria/Pineville Honor Guard. L.B. was an iron worker and heavy equipment operator as well as an avid outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish; also, he had a green thumb and loved to grow a garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence B. Jenkins, Sr. and Clara Jenkins and his sister, Theada Rose Jenkins.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ruby Jenkins of Glenmora; daughter, Anita Graves (Billy) of Natchitoches, son, Lonnie Jenkins of Otis, son Ernie Jenkins of Hineston, daughter, Laurie McGee (Bud) of Laurel, MS, son, Travis McDonald (Anna) of Glenmora, daughter, LaRhonda Hippolyte (Jonas) of Lafayette; 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; sisters, Lois J. Normand of Forest Hill, Brenda Ramsey (Gene) of Gardner, Rose Jenkins and fiance Ronald Cockerham of Otis, and Mary Jane Jenkins of Oberlin; brothers, Jack B. Jenkins (Pat) of Pineville, Jimmy R. Jenkins and Johnny Jenkins of Glenmora as well as a host of nieces, nephews and beloved friends and other family.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Guardian Hospice Care and Magnolia Funeral Home for their exceptional care and kindness.
