David John Wadman

28 February 1944 - 6 November 2025

Dave passed away peacefully, his wife by his side, at Southwood Hospice after a brief illness.

He will be sadly missed by Ruth, his wife of 46 years; their children, Sarah (Jason) and Paul; as well as their granddaughter, Payten.

Dave was born in London, England and immigrated to Canada with Ruth in 1980. Despite being confined to a wheelchair most of his adult life, Dave remained optimistic and cheerful, showing all around him that doing challenging things was possible. His love of airplanes led him to researching and writing books about Second World War aircraft, allowing him to befriend many like-minded people world-wide. His presence will be greatly missed by his family, colleagues, and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Dave’s memory to a veteran's group or association of your choice.
