Nikolaos (Nick) Nikolaidis Obituary

With deep sorrow and eternal love, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Nikolaos (Nick) Nikolaidis, who left us on October 26, 2025, at the age of 91.

Nick was born in Akritas (Bouf), Florina, Greece, and came to Canada in 1974 with his family. Leaving his homeland behind, he was proud to become a Canadian citizen and build a new life here. Together with his beloved wife, Arhonda, they made Canada their home. When she passed away in 2020, a part of him went with her.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children — the late Vatsa, George (Susan), Helen (Dan), and Penny (Lane) — and by his cherished grandchildren: John (Laurie), Tom, Kathy (Tywan), Kristie (Vince), the late David (Miriam), Stephen (Erica), Michael, Mark, Matthew, and Jess.

Nick was blessed with twelve wonderful great-grandchildren: Alexis, Johnathon, Nina, Alexander, Merigold, Ivan, Desmond, Parker, Amelia, Marlee, Giulia, and Sofia — each one bringing him pride and joy.

He will be deeply missed by many friends and relatives, remembered for his humor, warmth, and carefree spirit. Nick was the kind of person who could make anyone smile — a true light in every room he entered.

May he rest in eternal peace, reunited with his beloved Arhonda.
