Beulah Maxine Rhodes, 89, of Elkview, WV went home to be with the Lord Friday October 17, 2025, at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston WV, surrounded by her loving family.

Beulah was born February 14, 1936, in Roane County, WV to Silas and Erma Hay. In 1955 she wed Robert Rhodes, with whom she shared 54 years of loving marriage and two sons, David and Danny Rhodes.

Beulah was a devoted Christian and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends. Beulah is survived by her sons; David Rhodes and wife Denise of Elkview, WV, Danny Rhodes and wife Lisa of Elkview, WV; grandchildren Amanda Goins and husband Joshua of Mount Airy, NC, Jeremy Rhodes of Elkview, WV; Jacob Rhodes of Saint Albans, WV, and Abram Rhodes of Dunbar WV; great-grandson Waylon Rhodes of Saint Albans WV and sister Thelma Jackson and husband Johnny of Pinch, WV. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family would like to extend special thanks to her care-giver and long-time friend Sandy Morris.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rhodes; parents Silas and Erma Hay; siblings Evelyn Hay, Okie Hay, Alice Moore, Genevieve Elmore, and Mildred Shafer.

A funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Doug McClung officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery on Ambler Ridge.

Visitation will be from 12:00pm-1:00pm on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Hafer Funeral Home.
