It is with great sadness that the family of Rhona Joye Milley announce her passing, which occurred peacefully on October 13, 2025, at Bobby’s Hospice.


Rhona was predeceased by her husband, Bill as well as her parents, Stanley and Hazel Graham (nee Logan), her brother Sonny Graham, and her sister Jean Saunders (Nee Graham).

Rhona is survived by her children, Carol, Robert “Bob”, Linda, and special daughter Pam; her grandchildren, Joel, Janet, Matthew, Vanessa, Shanna, Matt, Allison, Chris, Scott, Amanda, Rob, Janelle; great grandchildren Brooklyn, Alexis, Nick, Alexander, Lexi, Devyn, Janey, and Taylor; as well as by her nieces, nephews, and special friends Peter and Pattie.


Rhona worked for Anglican House for most of her life. She was a member of the Portland United Church and Choir for over 70 years. Following her retirement, she enjoyed some travelling, singing in choir, she was an avid knitter and reader, she enjoyed spending time at home with her family, enjoying activities with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rhona looked forward to singing with Julien and Pam several times a week, and as well as visits from Twitch the cat


We can not thank all the wonderful and caring people at Bobby’s Hospice for their care and kindness and everything they did for us to make a hard time so special.


In keeping with Rhona’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home (506-634-7424), 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A service will take place at 1:00 PM with Reception to follow. There will be an Interment at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be livestreamed via the Funeral Home website.


In lieu of flowers, donations to Bobby’s Hospice or Portland United Church would be appreciated. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.BrenansFH.com.
