Teddy Moore, age 48, of Neosho, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday October 7, 2025.


Teddy was born January 30, 1977 in Monett, Missouri to Ted and Leta (Nelson) Moore.


He lived with a lifelong illness of Muscular Dystrophia. Teddy was a fighter and had great determination. He was very involved with MDA and was a local representative of the organization. He loved his family and reading his bible. Teddy was a huge gamer and enjoyed collecting miniature cars and knives.


Teddy was preceded in death by his parents.


He is survived by two sisters, Charlene Jay (Duard) and Debra Carnes (Cary) both of Neosho; three brothers, Cliff McLaud (Kenna) of Neosho, Gus Moore (Cheyenne) of Goodman, Jacob Moore (Rachel) of Seneca; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended friends. He is also survived by life long friend, Steve Edgerly and long-time care giver Jeff Keeler.


Following Teddy’s wishes there will be cremation with a memorial graveside service at 1:00 pm Thursday October 16, 2025 at Hazelgreen Cemetery, Boulder City, Missouri with JR Burr and Dan Goostree officiating.


Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory Joplin, Missouri.
