Kimberly Graham (Lindquist) Obituary

Kimberly A. Graham, age 49, of Joplin, MO passed on September 24, 2025 away after several months of declining health.

Kim was born on December 17, 1975 in St. Petersburg, FL to her late parents Joseph and Vickie (Atkins) Lindquist.

The family has lovingly written about Kim’s life:

My mom did such a good job trying to take care of myself, my sister, her father and brother no matter how hard it was for her, that's who she was and always will be. She was so adamant on caring for people that she even pursued a career in teaching children from pre-k (Comfy Corner preschool under my grandmother) to elementary school (Melrose elementary) as a teacher’s assistant and even had a habit of taking care of the neighborhood kids and my friends growing up. Though she may have been tough at times, she always wished everyone well and tried to steer them in the right direction the best way she knew how. She even went to college with the hopes of being able to teach kids in need in a more official capacity. In doing so, she received her associate’s degree in arts (even learned asl) with the hopes of being able to teach kids with disabilities. My mom is great. She even told me after getting her degree that her mom would be so proud of her, and though her mom was not there to tell her that she was proud. I was, and I still am. She did so much good to the hearts of many in her short 49 years of life. And no matter how old she got she never showed signs of being too old to follow her dreams.

Kim is preceded by her parents Joseph and Vickie Lindquist, and one brother Brian Lindquist.

She is survived by her children, Damian Graham and Samantha Ungurait, one sister, Ashley Gerace, two grandchildren, Braylin Ungurait and Layla Beck, two nephews, Austin Lindquist and Kenny Gerace, one niece, Amber Gerace.

The family will hold a celebration of life on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 10:00am at Big Sugar Creek in McDonald County.
