Gerard J. Moser, 92, of Hopewell Junction, NY, and formerly of Queens, NY, passed away peacefully at home on September 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on September 19, 1933, in Queens, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Sommer) Moser. Gerard proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War era from 1951 to 1954.
On November 22, 1959, he married Phyllis Caruso in Brooklyn, NY. They shared a loving marriage of nearly 66 years, and she survives at home.
Gerard worked for more than 30 years with the United States Postal Service as a mail clerk in East New York, NY. A good man and a devoted husband and father, he found joy in carpentry, woodworking, and gardening.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his two sons, Gerard Moser Jr., and Christopher Moser and his wife, Clara.
