Sheldon was born in Bonshaw in January 1938 to the late Stewart and Vivian MacNevin- living there his entire life until he moved to nursing care. Besides Ruth, his wife for 66 years, he was also predeceased by his brothers and sisters-in -law John and Judy Dunsford ;Howard and Betty Lord, and brother- in-law Lyman Wood as well as his son-in-law John Callbeck, and niece Laura-Lee Cousins.
At Sheldon’s request, there will be no visitation. A private graveside funeral service will be held at a later date.
Sheldon was a founder and organizer of the Fishermans Breakfast in Bonshaw for 28 years from which the majority of proceeds were given to the QEH equipment fund so in lieu of flowers, donations to the QEH would be a wonderful tribute in his memory.
The family would also like to thank all the staff at Andrews of Park West for their care over the past few years.
