Frank Buonamici Obituary
Frank Buonamici, 88 years of age, and resident of Naperville, Illinois, passed away peacefully at his Naperville residence on September 24, 2025.
He was born on May 25, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Armando and Felicina (Brunicardi) Buonamici and grew up in Cicero IL.
On January 29th, 1966, he was united in marriage to Elaine (nee Curran) Buonamici; the two enjoyed a happy marriage for over 59 years.
Frank played many sports while he was growing up but loved running and ran the Chicago marathon in the 1980’s which he was very proud of.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine; and Son Brian, his grandchildren; Griffin, Zoey, and Devin as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Frank was preceded in death by his brothers Arnaldo Buonamici and Gene Buonamici
An 11:00 mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic church 36 N Ellsworth St, Naperville, IL 60540
Private interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois.
