Donald E. Shelton Obituary
Donald E. Shelton, 88, of Warren, OH, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, September 23th, 2025, at Burton Health Care Center, Burton, Ohio. He was born in Huntington, West Virginia on December 29th, 1936, to the late Harry and Mary (Shue) Shelton.
A 1955 graduate of Huntington East High School, Donald went on to join the Air Force and was a proud veteran. He later worked for Eastern Airlines for 30 years.
Donald will be greatly missed by: his sons, Donald “Joe” (Pamela) Shelton and Steve Shelton; his sister: Patty (Haines) Hoggset; grandchildren, Amy Rood, Dean (Amanda) Rood, Ryan (Audrey) Shelton and Abram Shelton; and many great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his parents; first wife Sally (Garrett) Shelton, and second wife Kay (Cooney) Shelton.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD ON OCTOBER 11TH AT 12:00 PM AT LEAVITTSBURG BAPTIST CHURCH, 4150 Kincaid East Rd NW, Warren, officiated Pastor Mike Alger.
