Sara C. (Detweiler) Gingerich, 66, of Middlefield, OH passed away peacefully Monday evening, September 22nd, 2025, at home and surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Middlefield, OH on December 24th, 1958, to the late Crist N. and Sara C. (Miller) Detweiler.  Sara later married the love of her life and best friend, Jim Gingerich on September 8th, 1983. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

She will be missed by: her children, Marty (Martha) Gingerich, Mary (Jerry) Miller; 5 brothers; 4 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Sara is preceded in death by: her parents; in-laws William M. and Ella A. (Weaver) Gingerich; and 1 sister.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00A.M., THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2025, AT 13560 MADISON RD., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Danny Ray Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Marvin Wengerd, Sam Miller, John Weaver, and Bob Weaver. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Sara’s final resting place will be in Miller Cemetery, Middlefield Twp, OH.
