Marilyn Lazarus Obituary
Marilyn Lazarus, 66, formerly of Haines Falls and Catskill, passed away on September 16, 2025.
She was born in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of the late Joel and Rose Abrowitz Zepkowitz.
For many years Marilyn was affiliated with Temple Israel of Catskill.
Her husband, John George Lazarus died September 13, 2023. Two children Jonathan Conder and infant Erin Lazarus both died previously.
Mother of Giri Weber (Lisa) of W. Virginia, Genevieve Lazarus of Queens, Lawrence Lazarus of Kingston and Sharon Lazarus of Tannersville; sister of Salah Horowitz of Portland, OR; grandmother of Cameron Rose Daley, Olivia Daley, and Anna Baker; aunt to several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, September 19th at Temple Israel Cemetery, Catskill. Rabbi Zoe B. Zak will officiate.
