Barbara Ann Paschall, 66, of Pottstown, PA, entered into eternal rest on September 9, 2025. She was born on March 8, 1959, in Philadelphia, PA, to John Paschall Sr. and the late Clementine (Marshall) Paschall.

Barbara graduated from Pottstown High School and dedicated her career to caring for others as a CNA with Open Hearts Home Care in Reading, PA. She especially loved gambling — whether it was trying her luck at the slot machines, scratching off lottery tickets, or spending a day at the casino. She also enjoyed fishing, browsing yard sales, and taking walks with her faithful dog, Buddy. Most of all, Barbara treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

In addition to her father, John Paschall Sr., she leaves to cherish her memory her beloved children: Nicole Paschall, Gilbert (Cecelia Burford) Butts, Jessica (Samont) Scott, and Jaclyn Butts.

Barbara was the proud grandmother of Shanquia, Shamonia, Najai, Nazaiyah, Ahyan, Ahnyay, Justice, Gavin, Destyn, Brooklyn, Jestyn, Jaidyn, Ziaire, Raekwon, Kyle, Samai, Saniya, Benjamin, Quadeara, Ja’vera, and Sincere. She was also blessed to witness her family’s love expand with the addition of 16 great-grandchildren.

Her love extended deeply to her siblings: Lawrence Paschall, Gregory (Carmella) Paschall Sr., Anthony (Deanna) Paschall, Janice (Earnest) Gibbs, Lamont Paschall, Yolanda Paschall, and Tabitha Paschall, along with her sister-in-law, Deidre Peck.

She is also survived by her aunt, Annie Pearl Marshall, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever cherish her memory.

She was welcomed into glory by those who preceded her: her mother, Clementine Paschall; her grandsons, Charles and Jordyn; and her brothers, John Paschall Jr. and Robert Paschall.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Community Church of Pottstown, 575 N. Keim St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Homegoing Celebration will follow at 11:00 a.m., with interment at Highland Memorial Park, 701 Farmington Ave., Pottstown, PA 19464.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara’s honor to the American Lung Association.
