Theresa M. Glassman, 103, of Kingston passed away, with her son by her side, on September 9, 2025 at TenBroeck Commons Nursing Home.
She was born in Kingston Point, a daughter of the late John and Angeline Naccarato Crispino. Theresa worked at Kingston Knitting Mills and Jack’s Dress Shop in Kingston. In 1957 she became a licensed beautician and worked as a cosmetologist at Theresa’s Beauty Nook until she retired in 1987.
Over the years, Theresa served with the Ladies Auxiliary of Joyce-Schirick Post 1386, VFW, a life member of the Kingston Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, a volunteer at Benedictine Hospital and Golden Hill Health Care Facility. While spending winters in Florida, Theresa belonged to the Spanish Lakes Italian-American Club and organ club in Ft. Pierce. In Vero Beach, she was active in the Italian-American Club, Polish-American Club and Moose Lodge. She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church.
Beloved wife of the late Julius M. Glassman, mother of Alan Glassman of Kingston, grandmother of Kim VanWert, Great grandmother of the late Deena Cole VanWert Cordero, great grandmother of “AJ” Velez, sister of Ronald Crispino of Florida and Raymond Crispino of Kingston, and the late Joseph, John and Anthony Crispino, Mary Crispino, Carmela DelTorto, Rose Baccuci; aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, 27 Smith Ave., Kingston on Monday, September 15th from 3:00 - 6:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Robert J.
