Billie Hensley Eads, age 88, of Berea died Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the U. K. Medical Center in Lexington of complications following a stroke. She was a Wallins, Kentucky native (Harlan County) born July 2, 1930, daughter of the late Andrew and Rettie Kinnard Hensley, retired RCA employee, farmer and property owner in Indiana. After retirement in 1987 Billie and her late husband of 67 years, Lee Eads made Berea their home. She was a member of the Holiness Faith and long-time member of Crestview Holy Sanctuary Church. Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and members of her late husband’s family which she called her own. She is also survived by numerous friends and church family. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by 5 siblings, Rosa Krahenbuhl, James Hensley, Milton Hensley, Marie Hostcher and Orville Hensley. Funeral Service 2:00 PM, Friday, June 28, 2019 at Reppert Funeral Home with Bro. Achee Eads and Bro. Harold Eads officiating. Burial will follow in Berea Cemetery.
