Michael Moore, a lifelong resident of Carlstadt, passed away at home on September 2, 2025. He is survived by his son, Michael Moore Jr.; his mother, Eleanor Moore; his sister, Patricia Tripodi and her husband Vincent; and his nieces, Christina and Jessica Tripodi. He is also survived by his cat, Veronica. He was predeceased by his father, Howard Moore, and his cats, Dexter and Ezzy. Michael valued the friendships he formed in childhood, especially with his best friend Eric Biedermann, Steve Cooney, and many others. The family would like to thank Eric Biedermann for going above and beyond all these years.  He was blessed to have you as a friend!  Michael was a dedicated music fan who traveled widely to attend concerts throughout his life. A memorial visitation will be held at Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt, on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Michael to the Teterboro Animal Shelter, 100 United Lane, Teterboro, NJ 07608. Please make the check payable to Bergen County, and include Michael Moore’s name as well as the address where you would like a letter sent.
