In Loving Memory of Ernest "Skip" Albert Barthel II, 77 years old. Skip passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 in Port St. Lucie, FL where he was moved by family to recover from a stroke. Skip was born in Tampa, FL on August 22, 1941. After High School he went to work as a union electrician for roughly 40 years. He lived in many areas of the country with most of his time being spent in Ohio and FL. Skip retired in 2004 and moved to Avon Park. FL where he lived until recently. He lost his beloved wife, Charnell in August 2018. Skip loved his Family.... and Hot Rods, Motorcycles, Mexican Food, Miami Dolphins and the Michigan Wolverines. He is survived by his son Ernest "Skip" Albert Barthel III (wife Charlotte), daughter Julie Ann Rustin (husband Chuck), sister Diane Graves, Grandsons Robert Rustin (wife Nicole) and Michael Rustin, 8 other grandchildren by marriage and nieces and nephews.
