A service to honor Patricia's life will take place on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 beginning at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 PM until time for the service at the funeral home. A private family interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Barnesville, Georgia. 

Patricia Lifsey Daniel, born March 21, 1936, in Barnesville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on August 29, 2025, at the age of 89.

Pat was first and foremost, a devoted wife and mother, who loved her family fiercely. As an educator and lifelong learner, Pat spent much of her life in the classroom, where she shared her love of knowledge and helped shape the lives of countless students.

Outside the classroom, Pat found deep joy in music. A gifted pianist, she filled her home, and countless others, with warmth and melody, using music not only as a source of personal fulfillment but as a way to connect with those she loved. Her music, like her presence, brought comfort and beauty to all who heard it. There was never a challenge she couldn’t live up to when asked to play any song.

She will be remembered for her quiet strength, compassionate spirit, her love and faith in God, and the grace with which she lived each day. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched — as a teacher, a musician, and a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend.

Pat was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Jay, and brother, Frankie. She is survived by her children: Keith Daniel (Rosetta), Matthew Daniel (Hanna), and Allison Burns (Ken); and by her cherished grandchildren: Bethany Cornwell (Andrew), Bonnie Harding (Colin), Adam Daniel (Melanie), Austin Loo (Katie), Diction Minong (Ashley), Jim Kelly Minong (Loida), Jevy Minong (Philip), Hugh Minong, Kaycee Minong, Tabitha Burns (Brandi), Jacob McLaughlin and Brandon McLaughlin. She is additionally survived by 12 great grandchildren.
