Laura Christine Baity Loved By All Waynesville-Laura Christine Baity, age 90, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019 She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Baity; parents, John and Mary Owen Shelton and one sister, Nancy Owen. Laura is survived by her three sisters, Pansy (David) Shuler, Deborah (Pete) Wells of Brevard, Doris (Charlie) Jones of Lake Toxaway, and her brother Buddy Shelton of Brevard. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, June 7, 2019 at Smoky Mountain Chapel with Reverend Phillip Wyatt officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Private burial will take place at Garrett Hillcrest Cemetery.
