Mrs. Sarah Cook Dendy, passed away peacefully, on Friday, August 22,2025 at the NHC of Lauren’s. She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Sandra (Bernard) Suber of Waterloo, SC; three sons: Mr. Kenneth Dendy, Mr. Curtis (Sophia) Dendy of Gray Court SC, and Mr. Sammy Bernard Dendy, Jr of Spartanburg, SC; four sister: Nina (Benjamin) Longshore, Margarine Cook, Mulina Cook, and Roberta Lewis all of Cross Hill, SC; three sisters-in-laws; Jessie B. Cook, Rosa A. Cook, Nora G. Cook, brother in laws Morris Fuller, Walter Johnson; Grandchildren reared in the home Shatez Dendy, Bernard V. Suber of Waterloo SC; Kentarius Burnside, Demarcus Martin, Javarus Cunningham, and Marcus Dendy and a host of great grands, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.


Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Cook Dendy will be held on Tuesday, August 26,2025 at 2pm at the St. John’s Baptist Church in Cross Hill, SC with Reverend Tony Cunningham officiating, Evangelist Patricia Miller presiding, and burial to be held in the Franklin Cemetery.


Public viewing will be held on Monday, August 25,2025 from 1-6pm

The family is receiving friends at the home of her daughter Mrs. Sandra (Bernard) Suber 1383 Blakely Road, Waterloo, S.C.
