Wayne was my brother in law and I was privileged to visit him a few
times. Once in Austin, TX, and again at a reunion of Vietnam veterans held in Florida. Wayne was one of the few people I knew who was courageous, driven, and just a wonderful person I was glad to know.

My deepest condolences to the family of Lt. Col Wood. Lt. Col Wood was my first boss at my first Air Force assignment in the Services Section at Bolling AFB in Wash. DC back in 1978. He was a true gentleman and it was a pleasure to serve under him.
