Born October 17, 1946 in the Philippines Islands, entered into rest May 6, 2019 in Santa Maria, California at the age 72. An ROTC graduate of University of Southern California in electrical engineering, he possessed several masters degrees and was also an Honorably discharged US Navy line officer. He spent the greater part of his career working for Toshiba International in Houston Texas. He is survived by his father Conrado Mangapit Sr of Guadalupe CA, only daughter Regina Mangapit Moore and daughter-in-law Erin Avellaneda of Houston Texas, his 3 grandsons of Joshua, Jared and Caleb of Houston TX, and also by his great grand-daughter Layla. The memorial service/final wishes will be held in/carried out Houston Texas with a mass in his honor in Guadalupe CA this weekend before he is brought home. He was proud that his family has carried out 4 generations of military service.
