Victor Humberto Lopez, age 71, of Fairfield Township, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025. Victor was born on July 13, 1954, in San Marcos, Guatemala, to the late Victoriano Segundo Lopez and Lidia Manuela de Leon Barrios.

At the age of 13, Victor left his parent’s home to work in the city and help support his parents and five younger brothers. He met the love of his life, Nolberta at the age of 16. Their bond was immediate and enduring, leading to a lifetime of shared joy and companionship. Victor and Nolberta were united in marriage on November 20, 1974, celebrating over 50 years of marriage, a testament to their unwavering commitment to one another. After marrying, Victor and Nolberta relocated to Los Angeles, California, where they raised three kids, Alexander, Lesly, and Berta. Together, they built a beautiful life with cherished memories.

In his professional life, Victor was a talented tailor, known for his meticulous craftsmanship and keen eye for detail. He worked for Guess clothing company, in the early development of the company. He also worked for TV shows making and fixing wardrobes. His hard work brought joy and confidence to countless individuals, and his skill was admired by many. Through his hard work he helped additional family establish roots in Los Angeles and helped his family grow. He gave to others willingly and whole heartedly, whilst continuing to help support his parents and family in Guatemala. He was Catholic and a devout follower of the Holy Trinity and El Señor de Esquipulas (The Black Christ of Esquipulas). In his latter years, Victor and Nolberta moved to Fairfield Township, where they lived with their son Alexander, his wife Patricia and their kids Izabella, Julianna, and Vincent, where he was cared for and loved dearly.

Victor will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Nolberta; his son Alex and wife Patricia, his daughters, his cherished grandchildren, Izabella, Julianna, and Vincent; his siblings, Anselmo, Cruz, Horacio, Ramon, Reginaldo; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Funeral services for Victor are being planned in Guatemala and will be announced in the coming

days.

Víctor Humberto López, de 71 años, de Fairfield Township, Ohio, falleció pacíficamente el 29 de julio de 2025. Víctor nació el 13 de julio de 1954 en San Marcos, Guatemala, hijo de los fallecidos Victoriano Segundo López y Lidia Manuela de León Barrios.

A los 13 años, Víctor salió de su casa para trabajar en la ciudad y ayudar a mantener a sus padres y a sus cinco hermanos menores. Conoció al amor de su vida, Nolberta, a los 16 años. Su vínculo fue inmediato y duradero, dando lugar a una vida de alegría y compañerismo compartidos. Víctor y Nolberta se casaron el 20 de noviembre de 1974, celebrando más de 50 años de matrimonio, testimonio de su inquebrantable compromiso mutuo. Después de casarse, Víctor y Nolberta se mudaron a Los Ángeles, California, donde criaron a sus tres hijos: Alexander, Lesly y Berta. Juntos, construyeron una vida hermosa con preciosos recuerdos.

En su vida profesional, Víctor fue un sastre talentoso, conocido por su meticulosa artesanía y gran atención al detalle. Trabajó para la empresa de ropa Guess en sus inicios. También trabajó para programas de televisión, confeccionando y arreglando vestuarios. Su arduo trabajo trajo alegría y confianza a innumerables personas, y su habilidad fue admirada por muchos. Gracias a su arduo trabajo, ayudó a más de su familia a establecerse en Los Ángeles y ayudó a su familia a crecer. Se entregó a los demás con generosidad y de todo corazón, a la vez que seguía ayudando a sus padres y familia en Guatemala. Era Católico y un devoto seguidor de la Santísima Trinidad y El Señor de Esquipulas. En sus últimos años, Víctor y Nolberta se mudaron al Municipio de Fairfield en Ohio, donde vivieron con su hijo Alexander, su esposa Patricia y sus hijos Izabella, Julianna y Vincent, donde recibió un cariño y cuidado especial.

Víctor será profundamente extrañado por su amada esposa, Nolberta; su hijo Alex y su esposa Patricia, sus hijas, sus queridos nietos y nietas, Izabella, Julianna y Vincent; sus hermanos, Anselmo, Cruz, Horacio, Ramon, Reginaldo; y una gran cantidad de sobrinas, sobrinos, familiares y amigos.

Los servicios funerarios de Víctor se están planificando en Guatemala y se anunciarán en los próximos días.
