DENNIS CORNAZZARD LOWERY, age 89, of Bangor, Maine passed away peacefully Saturday morning, July 5, 2025 at the Maine Veterans Home in Bangor, Maine. 

Mr. Lowery was born September 22, 1935 in Granville County, NC, son of the late Bernard F. Lowery Sr. and the late Goldie Virginia Whitt Lowery. He was retired from the US Air Force as an airplane mechanic.

Surviving are a son, Garrett Lowery & wife, Jody, two grandsons, Dillon Lowery & wife, Olivia and Jordan Lowery & partner, Mackenize, great-granddaughter, Everly Lowery all of Maine, and brother, Emerson Lowery & wife, Barbara.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Lowery is preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Forrest Lowery, Jr., and three sisters, Mattie Sue Whitfield, Tina Lowery Westbrooks and Nettie Mae Lowery.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2025 in the Strickland and Jones Chapel with Pastor Darcy Knight officiating. Interment will follow in Person Memorial Cemetery with full military honors.
