Murray George Mitchell went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2025. He is remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife, Wendy Mitchell, his brother Gordon Mitchell (Trish) of Qualicum, BC and his sister Christine Koverchuk (Fred) of Peachland, BC. He is sadly predeceased by his loving parents, George and Ellen and his brother Allan.

Murray’s love of life, working the gardens at Capilano Suspension Bridge and travelling with Wendy in their RV brought him great joy. He touched the lives of those who knew him through his devout faith, being an active member at his church and serving his community by delivering meals to those in need. His quirky sense of humour and generous spirit filled everyone around him with joy.

Murray’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Church of the Nazarene, 523 Jermyn Avenue, Penticton, BC with Michael Patterson officiating. Click here for the Livestream of the service.
