On Saturday July 5, 2025, Barbara Jean Bloom died peacefully, at her home in Port Sydney

at the age of 83, surrounded by love, after having cancer for 2 years and almost 10 months.

Barbara was born on October 12, 1941, to James Alexander Kincade and Agatha May

Humphrey in St John, NB. She is survived by her brother Ken Kincade, and predeceased by

her sisters May Munroe and Doreen Dalling.

Barb attended Toronto Bible College where she met her husband, Peter Bloom. Together

they worked at Ontario Pioneer Camp for over 30 years.

She is survived by her husband Peter Bloom, son Jeffrey Bloom (wife Claire; children

Hannah, James, Alberta) daughter Jennifer Koop (husband Kevin; children Lillian, Megan,

Simon, Amelia), and daughter Susan Bloom (children Ella, Maeve).

Though we grieve, we find comfort in her unshakable faith and the legacy of love she leaves

behind.

We rejoice in knowing she is now in the presence of her Saviour—resting in

eternal glory.

Barb’s Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 19th, 2025, at 1pm, at St. Andrew’s

Presbyterian church in Huntsville, ON.
