Spencer Thomas Jorgenson died suddenly July 5, 2025.

Born in Danbury, CT on January 12, 2006, he was the son of Jeff and Katie Jorgenson and was raised in Newtown, CT. Spencer attended Newtown schools and was a 2024 graduate of Newtown High School. He was a member of the Newtown Nighthawks wrestling team and, while he enjoyed that, his favorite sport was rugby. He was a long-time member of the Aspetuck Valley Rugby Club, playing the positions of wing, scrumhalf, and fullback. Spencer was involved with Boy Scouts from a young age, was a member of the Order of the Arrow, and attended the International Boy Scout Jamboree in Scotland. His true passion was automobiles, and he was a member of the Rad Stallions Car Club - his pride and joy was his 2001 Honda Prelude.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Ty Jorgenson, his maternal grandparents Linda and Rikki Ball, and many uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends. A wake will be held on Saturday July 19, 2025 at Honan Funeral Home at 58 Main St., Newtown, CT from 1-4 pm. Car club members are invited to attend from 12 - 1 pm, exclusively. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Christ The King Lutheran Church at 85 Mt. Pleasant Rd, Newtown, CT at 2 pm. Should the parking lot be full, parking is allowed along Tory Lane.

Spencer was loving, outgoing and empathetic by nature. He was always ready to help a friend in need. His death leaves a heartache that nothing can heal. We loved him for his whole life and will remember and miss him for the rest of ours.
