It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas Mark Jody, 71, of Beavercreek, OH. He was a beloved son, brother and uncle. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Wilma Jody, and by two brothers, his twin, David Clark Jody and infant Timothy Neal Jody. He is survived by his sister, Donna Peercy of Lebanon, OH, his brother, Ed Jody of Moore, SC, and brother, Matthew Jody of Interlochen, MI. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces.

Doug was a long-time resident of Beavercreek, OH. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving at Little Rock AFB as a Missile Facilities Specialist. He was once an avid bicyclist spending his weekends on organized rides, or on the bike trail near his home. And he was fluent in Klingon.

A kind, generous soul, he will be greatly missed.
