Alan Dean Robert, age 47, of East Haven entered into rest on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at his home, with his loving family by his side.

Alan is remembered by his beloved wife of 25 years, Diana (Tesla) Robert. He was born in Derby on December 3, 1977, the cherished son of Renald and Christine (Gay) Robert. He was an East Haven resident for most of his life.

Alan worked at SiteOne Landscaping as a horticulturist. He enjoyed gardening, arts, hockey, and music. He also loved everything to do with the outdoors and traveling. Most of all, he cherished spending time and making memories with his family.

Alan’s devotion as a loving father is preserved by his children, Alaiana Michelle Robert, Michael Alan Robert, and Dilan James Robert. His memory is held dear by his sister, Michelle Bellemare (James), and as the brother-in-law of Jennifer Tesla (Ralph Capasso), Christopher Tesla (Mary), and Gregory DeBlasio. Alan was the beloved son-in-law to Steve and Mary Tesla. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews: Jimmy and Ryan Bellemare; Lily, Mel, and Benjamin DeBlasio; and Brigid Tesla.

On Friday, friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby. On Saturday, friends are invited to go directly to Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 81 Center Rd., Woodbridge for Alan’s Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. On Sunday, family and friends are invited to gather in fellowship at Holy Ghost Park, 70 Nells Rock Rd., Shelton at 1:00 PM.

The family requests no flowers to be sent for his wake.
