Enza Meredith (Hanes) Row Obituary

Enza Meredith Hanes Row of Des Peres, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at the Quarter of Des Peres Care Center in Des Peres, Missouri. She was 74 years old.

She was born on January 16, 1961 in Chelsea, Massachusetts. Enza was the daughter of the late Earl Loyd Hanes and Mary Adelaide Hanes.

 Enza is survived by one son, EJ (Deronda) Lindsey of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and three daughters: Arla (Andy) Campbell of Rockfield, Kentucky; Jennifer (Mike) Alltop of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and Chris (Curt) Lawrence of Magnolia, Kentucky. She also leaves behind a brother, John (Demarice) Hanes of Cornelia, Georgia. She had 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Enza was an activities director at various nursing homes. She had a remarkable ability to engage residents, lifting their spirits and providing joy during her time at being the activities director. In her leisure time, she enjoyed crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Row; her two sisters, Sharon (Larry) Yadon of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Tracy Blackwell of Lakeland, Florida; and her brother, Terry Hanes of Rome, Georgia

Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Waynesville, Missouri, where Enza will be interred next to her husband, Robert.
