Carolyn Crim, age 81, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 5, 2025 after an abrupt battle with Multiforme Glioblastoma.
Carolyn was born on Tuesday, February 29, 1944, in Harrison County, WV. She often cherished the memories of her childhood, growing up in the hills of West Virginia with her siblings. After marrying her loving husband, Jim, she began a new chapter of her life in Ohio.
Carolyn had a deep love for family and enjoyed every moment spent with them. She was an avid birdwatcher, a talented artist, and a gifted piano player. Her sweet tooth was legendary, and she had a special fondness for treats of all kinds. Whether it was birdwatching, gardening, or the quiet retreats spent at her cabin down south, she found joy in nature. Carolyn also enjoyed the quiet challenge of a puzzle and treasured the companionship of her beloved dog, Cooper.
Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James "Jim" Crim, son, James "Jimmy" Crim; parents, William and Dolly (Singleton) Carpenter, and siblings, David, Eddie and Beverly.
She is survived by her children, Deanna Reynolds, Deborah (Blain) West; grandchildren, Carly Reynolds, James W. (Michelle) Crim Jr., Trevor Crim, Travis (Michelle) West, Amber (Andy) Kelly, Austin (Emily) Sines, Sara Sines; many great grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Road, Norton, Ohio 44203, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. Pastor Austin Sines officiating.
