Betty Lou Boyer, 92, Marion, passed away at 2:40 am on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Miller's Merry Manor in Marion. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Friday, December 9, 1932, to Kenneth and Lucille (Leisure) Mauller.  On October 24, 1951, she married Kenneth E. Boyer, who preceded her in death.  

Betty was a homemaker throughout her life. She gave her heart to Jesus at the age of 27 and attended 8th Street Wesleyan Church for 55 years. She taught Sunday school and was very involved with the church through cleaning and helping out with events. Betty enjoyed musicals, singing, going to Tops, and playing Dominoes with her friends.  

Betty lived a life full of love and dedication to her family and faith. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children, Delrey (Paula) Boyer of Demotte, Michael (Tina) Boyer of Marion, and Vickie (Doug) Wickham of Marion. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Lucrisha Bowman, Kelly (Kenny) Oliver, Kenny Boyer, Zachary Boyer, and Ryan Bennett; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack (Millie) Mauller, Kenneth Mauller, Jr., and Robert (Kay) Mauller; and sister, Barbara Schlechty.

Betty was also preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth B. and Lucille M. Mauller; brother, James Mauller; sister, Cherline Clark; grandsons, Farisi Ray Jackson and Chad Wickham; and granddaughter, Terri Lynn.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Betty's life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Dan Van Cise officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
