Ashley Nicole, born on June 2, 1986, in Independence, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at her home in Mebane, North Carolina, on July 5, 2025, at the age of 39. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Ashley received her formal education at Eastern Guilford High School in Gibsonville, North Carolina. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many with her kindness and compassion.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Laverne Juanita Williams Small Lloyd; her stepfather, Jimmy Ray Lloyd; and her grandparents, Robert W. Small and Rita Baker Small, as well as Roy Williams and Dorothy Williams.

Ashley leaves behind a loving family to honor her memory: her father, Ronald W. Small, and stepmother, Ann Arnold Small; brothers, Ronald Watson Small, Jr. and Bryan Dakota Lloyd; her sister, April Dawn Small; and her cherished children, Michael Scott Tincher, Cheyanne Marie Avila, and Preston Jaymes Small. She is also survived by her nieces, Marissa, Layla, and Zamira Boggs, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Triad Cremation & Funeral Service Chapel. Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories, with a visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to support Ashley's children and family. Her legacy will continue through the lives of those she loved so dearly.

Ashley will be deeply missed, but her spirit will remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
