John J. Forstoffer, of Lewes, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025. He was 79.

Born on April 22, 1946, in Bethlehem, PA, John was the son of the late Rosellen and Joseph J. Forstoffer. He grew up in Bethlehem and, after graduating from high school, proudly served in the United States Army.

Following his military service, John built a career in retail. He was a fantastic baker and an excellent cook, with a keen eye for interior design. He enjoyed gardening, spending time at the beach, and putting countless miles on his bicycle. John was a hardworking and devoted family man. He had a salty kinda sweet way about him and was a very loving and giving man.

John is survived by his husband of 11 years, Gregory Meyers; his former wife, Delann Forstoffer; his son, Kyle Forstoffer (Dawn) of Pittsburgh, PA; his daughter, Saranne Mahoski (Michael) of Bethlehem, PA; his sister, JoAnn Lettich of Bethlehem, PA; and his beloved grandchildren, Ryleigh, Tyler, and Logan. He also leaves behind his faithful dog, Benny, and his Maine Coon cat, Murphy.
