Christopher Drew Nash, who was born on July 22, 1976, in the breathtaking land of waterfalls, Niagara Falls, NY, made his final grand exit on July 5, 2025, just shy of his 49th birthday, in Chesapeake, VA. Chris lived a life as energetic as a football match and as unpredictable as the perfect fishing day—full of surprises and sea breezes.

Ever the adventurer, Chris found joy in deep-sea fishing trips that were more about tall tales than actual catches. His boating skills were legendary, though we're still unsure if "legendary" refers to his nautical prowess or his penchant for misadventures on the water. Regardless, he was a proud member of both the Virginia Beach Anglers Association and the Chesapeake Bay Ambassadors, where he could often be found sharing outrageous stories and questionable tips on landing the big one.

A sports enthusiast through and through, Chris was the kind of guy who'd watch football, soccer, basketball, and baseball with equal passion, deftly swapping jerseys to support whichever team was winning that day. We can only imagine he's now organizing celestial matches with the same enthusiasm.

Chris's educational journey began at Kempsville High School and continued at Tidewater Community College, where he likely majored in "Life's Not-So-Serious Lessons."

Left to reminisce about his antics are his father, Edward Nash; mother, Nancy Nash; brother, Scott Nash; and an extensive array of cousins, aunts, and uncles who were all likely victims of his infamous practical jokes.

Services to celebrate the life of Christopher Drew Nash will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 9:00 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, located at 621 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, VA 23322. In lieu of flowers, attendees are encouraged to bring their best fish story for some good-natured ribbing in honor of Chris’s zest for life.

Chris may have reeled in his last line here on Earth, but his spirit sails on, casting laughter and good cheer into eternal waters.
