Peggie Francis Webb Obituary
Peggie Francis Webb, age 87 of Bluff City, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at her home. She was a daughter of the late Dale Hill and Cora Benefield Hill, born to them on July 5, 1938, in Pulaski, Tennessee. Peggie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is of the Lutheran Faith and attended Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Johnson City. She enjoyed painting, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family. She united in marriage to Jack Donald Webb, and to this union three children were born.
Along with her parents, Peggie is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Jack Webb, a son-in-law, Victor Dietz, and a granddaughter, Jacqueline Regan.
Peggie is survived by her children, Deborah K. Dietz, Jack Donald Webb, Jr. and wife Diane, and Dawn Regan and husband Jay. Nine grandchildren, Jamie, Ryan, Melissa, Lindsey, Kristen, Nick, Alex, Jack III, and Jake. Nine great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Mary Dean Wade and Latricia Beebe. She is also survived by several other relatives and friends, left behind to cherish her memory.
Funeral services for Peggie Francis Webb will be conducted on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Oakley-Cook Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mountain Home National Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. with family members serving as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery no later than 1:50 P.M.
The Webb family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, after 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
