Lucille Hetherington went to be with her Lord and Savior, after a short illness, on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the age of 81 years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Jock and Derna Dugdale, and sister and brother-in-law, Margaret (Blair) Wihnan, and brother-in-law John Elves.

Left behind is her husband Bruce, sister Echo Elves, sister-in-law Delora Elliott, nieces, Roberta Elves, Rebecca Elves, Jennifer (Ben) Boehr; nephews, Brad (Shannon) Elves, Dean Wihnan, and Keith (Christine) Wihnan; great-nephews, Devon and Bryce Wihnan, Alex Wihnan; and great-nieces, Sara Wihnan, Carly Ann Boehr, and Adalyn Boehr. Lucille's fur babies, Denny and Echo, will miss her.

Lucille was always upbeat, despite struggling with health issues, and was always ready to lend a hand. She has many friends who will miss her. She enjoyed her tax and bookkeeping business for years and was also a true Calgary Flames fan.

At Lucille's request, a private family gathering will be held at a later date in the Crowsnest Pass.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the nurses of Unit 74 for their kindness toward Lucille—she truly appreciated their care.
