Mary D. (Rucci) Ardisson, 89, of Washington Township, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Quality Life Services (Apollo).
A daughter of the late John Rucci and Bambini (D'Achille) Rucci, she was born on February 4, 1936, in New Kensington, PA.
Mary had been a seamstress, working at Walzer’s Dry Cleaning in New Kensington and Patriot Manufacturing, Apollo, making military pants for many years. She also was a cake decorator, and homemaker. She was a member of Saint James the Greater Catholic Church in Apollo, and the Columbiana Lodge in New Kensington.
Mary was always baking something delicious, stitching something beautiful, or crafting something full of love. And of course, always was surrounded by her dog, who adored her just as much as us. We will carry her memories with us in every recipe we bake, every project we start, and every dog we spoil in her honor.
Survivors include her son, Paul J. Ardisson II of Lower Burrell; her daughter, Natalie Rice (Joseph) of Leechburg; and two grandsons, James and Paul Rice.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Ardisson Sr. in 1993; and all her siblings, Alfonso, Joseph, and John Rucci, Nicolina Petricca, Christine McKale, and Ettorina Weblinger.
Mary’s family would like to give special thanks to Quality Life Services – GRU Unit, Apollo, for all the help and care they have given.
Friends will be welcomed by her family on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, where Parting Prayers of Transfer will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 10, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, 125 Park Rd., in Gilpin Township, with Father Alan N.
