We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Abdul Rasheed Chaudhry Sahib of Toronto West Jamā‘at – Halqa Rexdale South, who passed away on July 5, 2025 at the age of 89 years.

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

By the grace of Allah, Respected Abdul Rasheed Chaudhry Sahib was a Mūṣī. He was regular in offering of his daily prayers and daily recitation of the Holy Quran. He used to give daily Dars ul Quran to his children at home. He held great love and regard for Khilafat. Respected Abdul Rasheed Chaudhry Sahib was zealous and courageous Dā‘īIlallāh and was very active in Tabligh in Pakistan and Canada. He was a devout Ahmadi who had the opportunity to serve the Jamā‘at in various capacities in Sheikhurpura, Pakistan and later in Canada. He was a kind and generous soul and was always ready to offer his services to anyone in need.

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
