Dan L. Haas
April 2, 1965 - July 5, 2025

   Dan Lee Haas, 60, of Custar, Ohio passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025 at The Toledo Hospital.
   He was born April 2, 1965 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Donald and Connie (Miller) Haas.  His father preceded him in death in 2019 and his mother survives in Bowling Green, Ohio.
   Dan was a 1983 graduate of Bowling Green High School and worked many years for Mack Industries in Bowling Green as a burial vault installer.  In December of 1997 he went to work for Turner Vault Company, Northwood and was currently their senior customer service representative.  For the past 27 1/2 years, he took great pride in providing quality and caring service to families and funeral homes in the Northwest Ohio area.  His work at a graveside was exceptional and his attention to detail was a standard to follow.
   Dan was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns.  He spent a lot of his youth having fun on the Maumee River with his family and friends.  Over those years, he enjoyed all water recreation and as he got older, certainly became for fond of fishing.  The quiet spots and hidden fishing holes became places that he enjoyed on his own time.  He will be remembered as a soft spoken, gentleman with a kind heart.  
   Dan is survived by his wife, Kendall; his mother, Connie; sister, Jacquelyn (Rich) Spangenberg; brother, Gary Haas; nieces and nephews, Jacob Spangenberg (Margaret McGaha); Erin Spangenberg; Grace Haas; Tyler Haas; his mother-in-law, Mishelle Cass; sister-in-law, Erika (Rick) Johnson; brother-in-law, Brian "BB" Bush and many family members and dear friends.
   A memorial gathering will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler.  Dan will be laid to rest next to his father in a private family service at Milton Township Cemetery, Custar.
   The family suggest memorials to the Wood County Humane Society.
