With heavy hearts, we announce the loss of Salvador Ruiz V (Miguel), who tragically passed away on July 5, 2025.
Born on January 12, 2005, Miguel was a radiant soul whose light touched everyone he met. He was creative, passionate, and kind-hearted, leaving a lasting impression on everyone blessed enough to know him.
Miguel graduated from Genoa High School in May 2023. He enjoyed art and spending time with his friends and family.
Miguel is survived by his mother Amy; father Salvador; and brothers Sergio and Sage Ruiz; along with a large extended family of grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins who cherished him deeply.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Sharon Alvarado and paternal great grandmother Alma Ruiz.
Miguel’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and the reminder to live each day with creativity and kindness.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Wednesday, July 9 at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, July 10 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
Gone too soon, he will be remembered always for the joy he brought into the world.
