John L. Seroka Obituary
John L. Seroka, 76, of La Salle, passed away at home on July 5, 2025.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle has been entrusted with his arrangements.
John was born in Streator on March 10, 1949 to John and Amelia (Medina) Seroka. He married Cheryl McCrimmon on October 17, 1992.
He enjoyed watching wrestling. He also enjoyed taking drives and getting lost with his wife, Cheryl. He loved spending time with his family.
John is survived by his wife, Cheryl of La Salle; eight children, Jayme Seroka, Jenny (Ben) Ramirez, Melissa Sanchez, Patsy Sanchez, Lisa Sanchez, Keith (Jenna) Seroka, Darci (Kevin) Clatt, Donald Seroka, and John L. Seroka Jr.; sixteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one brother, Robert Godwin; and four sisters, Karen Matos, Mary Louise Sackett, Jan Foster, and Jean Moran.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Raymon Godwin and Russell in infancy.
