Arnold Harris Strulson, 76, of Richmond, VA, passed away on July 5, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sonya and Leon Strulson.

Arnold is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Eileen Benenson Strulson; his children, Sam Strulson (Emily), and Erin Strulson Tabakin; his beloved grandchildren, Isabelle Strulson, Franklin Tabakin, and Casey Tabakin; his brother, Barry Strulson (Leah); his sisters, Annabelle Galumbeck (Robert) and JoClaire Strulson; and a host of numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and family.

Arnold was an avid lover of time with his grandchildren and family, fishing, the Yankees, VCU basketball, the Commanders, live music, the outdoors, poker, playing guitar and mandolin, and enjoying retirement.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Bliley’s – Central, 3801 Augusta Ave., Richmond, VA 23230, with interment to follow at Hebrew Cemetery, N 4th St & Hospital St, Richmond, VA 23219. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions to be made in Arnold’s memory to Congregation Beth Ahabah, or to the VCU School of Pharmacy Annual Fund.
